Osprey's Roost has been doing whole-animal, craft butchery in Halifax since 2009. Initially called the Getaway Farm Butcher Shops, we renamed the shops in 2022 in honour of the provincial bird of Nova Scotia, and the Poyser family name who started our beef farm and butcher shops and still own it today (Osprey is an anagram of Poyser).

The farm is still called Getaway Farm, but now it even easier to also give credit to all the other fantastic farms we get our other products from.

We have two locations conveniently located across Halifax.
